I don’t know about you, but I absolutely loved the Rodarte show. At first glance, it seemed to be a very scattered collection; some tie-dye, a bejeweled bib here and a leotard there. But after reading some reviews of the show and dissecting the collection myself, I began to understand the Mulleavy sister’s inspiration. The tie-dye was a kickback to both the 80′s and their childhood, growing up on the beaches of Santa Cruz. I think everything was on point with the show. Even the set design was amazing and nostalgic and trippy (neon lights littering the stage? Yes please). All in all, Rodarte was a great way to nearly close out NYFW. Oh, and thanks for casting Chloe Norgaard, Rodarte. That bitch is sort of my Jesus. The above collection of runway shots features my head in some obvious and some not-so-obvious spots. Let me know how many of my faces you find.
